Hi, . Now that it is looking like my life is going to calm down
enought to fit sailing back in, I'm looking for input and board
suggestions
I'm a terminal intermediate....ie can waterstart, still working on
sailing fast and in the straps consistently.
San Luis is my favorite, but Coyote is closer so I will sail more
there.
I'm 6' 250lb. I've got recent sails in 6.2/5.2 range and a new to
me used '97 custom (bigger) ASD Mutant. I got out last Friday to
Coyote and had fun, but my water start seemed to go away after not
sailing for 2 years.
I'm thinking of two options a) To heck with it, just get out and
sail what i have and all will come back with time and muscle
soreness.
b) Get another board....bigger i.e 150 liter (techno 283) or get
crazy and go BIG, 200 liters or so (techno 293) Then I sail, get a
little speed in and then go the ASD when the wind picks up
Any input and / or board recommendations would be helpful
thanks Jim
PS: Preffered option of going to maui or other windy tropical place
for 2-3 months is not going to happen :)
