Ok, now that I've got "shark season" down, my next FAQ is...

I understand the rules of sailing -- avoid collision, offwind
give way to upwind, port give way to starboard, etc. -- but have no
clue as to surf and wave sailing rules.

The impression I get is that it's esoteric, and any violation is
really egregious, but that's about all I know. :-/
