KCBS radio (740 AM) had Ron Wilson??, SFO spokesman, on explaining the
large delays in flights yesterday due to fog.
He went on and on about how the delays were up to 4 hrs.
The news people did mention that it was ONLY for short, shuttle type
flights, not the long distance flights, but Wilson shrugged this off and
used the spot as a way to plug how bad the problem is and how since El Nino,
it is much worse than in the past (yeah, we know. The wind sucks!)
Worst part...
He said
THE ONLY WAY to solve the problem is to build another runway!!!!!!
No mention that the airport could reduce the number of United shuttles and
fly bigger planes.
NO mention that technology could be used....
Free Propaganda for the Airport???
... We need to DELUGE KCBS with email and phone calls to tell them of these
lies!
