interview about delays. I agree the anchors should have noted at the time
that there's a lot of opposition to bay-fill runway expansion and that it's
a controversial issue, and I've discussed that with them. We have done a lot

Message = Just want to comment on the irresponsible reporting and commentary
by your station on 7/17/00 regarding flight delays at SFO. Allowing
statements such as, 'the only way to reduce delays is to build another
runway' are irresponsible, dishonest, and show poor investigative skills.
In fact there are alternatives that need to be carefully considered as well
as the risk/benefit ratio in regard to the environment. The public deserves
an accurate presentation of facts and your present reporting suggests that
either people at your station are not aware of local current events or are
receiving financial compensation to distort them.
