I was stuck in a rut I couldn't get out when I was learning to jibe. Every
time I went through the turn I would get to pointing down wind and stall.
Finally, an instructor told me to look down at my feet when this was
happening and the answer was right there.

I was so peroccupied with getting my sail around that I was reaching for it
before I completed the turn. This action took me off the carve and slowed my
speed to stall.
The remedy was to lean into the turn and keep the rail down. The board comes
around and the sail flips automatically.
