Dear Senator
Please vote no on SB1562
This Bill allows the San francisco airport to do minimal
environmental studies on wetlands restoration
sidesteping current
laws and regulations!
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and
I
remember why we put these laws into effect.
Please do not allow SFO, politics, the love of big money
and
Willie Brown's political machine to undo many years of
good
environmental work!
The airport does not need to expand as badly as they
claim.
Also, there are many alternative ideas on the table that
need to
be addressed first before we allow the easy, "fill the
Bay
Solutions".
I urge you to require that the airports in the San
Francisco Bay
Area form a regional commission and coordinate their
efforts so
we do not have to fill the Bay such that SFO gains
market share!
Please vote NO on SB1562
Thank-you!
