Please, lets not throw rocks or try to maintain some moral high
ground. Windsurfing does impact the environment. Consider this:
highly toxic chemicals are used to fabricate just about every component;
we drive all over typically alone and often in a poor gas mileage vehicle;
and then proceed to rig on and trample a sensitive dune area.

I appreciate the Sierra Club's efforts in trying not to let every last
bit of open space become paved. Their arguments might not always be rational
to us, since we have a different vested interest. However, there is
always some middle ground, unless it involves putting a duck pond in
the rigging area (ala 3rd Ave) ;-)
