>From Justin (195#)

Fri: Crissy 1:30-4:30 on Sputnik 285, Bravo 6.5. Smooth water with flood.
Switched to Saxo 265, Bravo 5.5 at 5:00. Start of ebb brought *GREAT* port
ramps. One of the best Crissy sessions with the wind filled into the beach
until 7:30.

Sat: Wadell. From 2:00 to 3:30, OP on 265, 5.5. Then I switched to a 5.0 Zeta and
was fully powered until 6:00. Very small surf. This was my first time at Wadell.
2 questions:
    1. Everybody riding the small surf would ride it right into the sand.
Is this the right way to ride the surf at wadell?
    2. Wadell seems to be equipment hell. Are there any good rigging areas? Any suggestions
for keeping equipment and car clean?

Sun: Rio, Powerlines from 2:00 to 7:00. Fully powered to overpowered on a 5.0 New
Wave Slalom (Neil Pryde single cam). This was the windiest I've seen Rio this year.
Somebody at the end of the island said it wasn't as windy.

Mon: Crissy. 1:30 to 4:00 on a 6.0, 265. Then the flood really kicked in. I took
a break and then went back out, only to get caught in the flood. Without enough wind,
it was impossible to make it back to the beach. To my chagrin, I did a small
walk of shame (50 yd.). I got my 285, put a 15 inch fin on it, and then had no
trouble sailing my 6.0 until 7:00 pm.
