It worked awesome. tons of pulling power and grip with that CLOVE HITCH.
It rocks. weird.

The half hitch was great to attach to a pole in my garage. then I just kept
tugging. downhaul line worked fine- but the pulling did take some serious
effort. no damage- plenty of ground sand.
