Erik, I've been sailing on two piece skinny masts for three years and
and never come close to having my mast stick (unlike my experience
using regular masts) that is until two weeks ago when I got my skinny
stuck together at Waddell. I'm printing out a picture of the clove
hitch right now and will put that knot to the test tonight! Thanks
for the info Bob.....Powerex & NoLimtz masts are awsome and rumors
are that some of the new wave sails are rigging better on the skinnys
than regular masts. Also skinnys are stronger and less susceptible to
breaking in the surf as I'm sure you've already heard.
