Perhaps we should request that all 4 month wannabe's wait 14 more years for the
sport to mature and thus leave more room for windsurfers?
:)

In all seriousness, it seems 3rd Ave has good places to launch kites but I have
heard of some less experienced boardsailors at 3rd being quite frustrated by
kiters there as the kiters crash and the beginners run over lines they don't
see...

I almost had a beginning kiter plow into my back while I was waiting for a
puff at Coyote to launch.. Lucky for me, the guy next to me saw him barreling
down on us.... This clown dragged down the full beach from the ASD launch into
the swimming area while in the "learning mode". Can you imagine if we get 20
kiters at Coyote on a weekend?

On the hole, the few kiters we have at Coyote seem quite considerate and it has
not been a problem except for the incident I mentioned. I hope it stays that
way.

GREAT sailing day yesterday!
