The master plan will be an examination of how the park is used and will look

at what changes can or should be made to improve the park.

Two more meetings for the public are scheduled:

Jan. 22, 6:30-8:30 pm, Coyote Point Museum, Environmental Room
April 2, 6:30-8:30 pm, Coyote Point Museum, Environmental Room

These meetings are a great opportunity to explore these ideas and get the
consultants to go out and do the neccesary homework. Please try and attend
one or both. Unfortunatly, I have to go to Baja on Jan. 20 :(

I promised the planner something today, but anyone can send a letter or
suggestion to:

ASD could very well be the operator and John Miller thought they would be
interested in the concession. The rents in their area are rising and prior
to
the economy hitting the latest bump it looked like they might not be at that

location in a year or two. ASD could use the concession building to have
ready to sail gear at the beach and keep the shop where it is. It would also

allow for more demos. Once the new office buildings are in, carrying fully
rigged gear across Airport Boulevard will be a much more sketchy business.
The park has realized that the existing concession buildings downwind are
under utilized. A concession upwind would probably due better due to
convenience. Imagine being able to get a burrito or some gatorade right by
the launch?

I'll suggest the launch and let the Park Planners do some leg work that we
will have opportunity to comment on.

We got the developer to make the contribution through the Bay Conservation
and Development Commission's permitting process. The agreement on that was
hashed out just before the holidays.
