How about a skateboard ramp with 10' transitions and a few feet of vertical
- excellent for a waiting for wind activity.

How about a launch area near Coyote Point harbor, south of the restaurant,
museum, etc. At high tide there is no beach, just rip rap, but if they
built a ramp or two, a la 3rd Ave, it should be doable.

I highly agree w/ Bob P here if it's possible. A launch less
affected by the new buildings would be a huge benefit.

Point Master Plan and Improvements

Is there any possibility of creating a second launch site on Coyote
point that is on the West side of the swimming area? This would
have the advantages of being in clear wind and closer to the
Channel. It would be an intermediate/expert (no-beginner) type of
launch. I'm not too clear on what the topography of the land is
over there.
