        I was thinking about this yesterday and came up with a new approach:
5200 marine sealant! This stuff is for "permenant" installations, once
described to me "atom-bomb proof".
I would remove the straps, put a dab around the screw hole, and
reinstall the straps. A Big washer on top would probably help too.
