Subject: "Blank" MIME messages
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Two years ago, I changed the wind_talk configuration to pass thru MIME
headers. Unfortunately, we keep getting instances of messages which
get sent through in a way that causes them to appear blank.
They are not blank. I think they just have MIME headers that are
not quite right, causing some mail readers to skip all the content.

As an experiment, I have turned off the MIME pass-thru. I think this
will make MIME messages look really ugly, but never appear blank.

Suzanne Suwanda, please resend your message that included Da Mayor's
response and we'll see what this looks like.

Anyone who has been getting lots of "blank" messages, please let me
know what mail reader you use and whether the blank messages are from
some particular author.

Everyone, please send traffic on this topic to ME rather than
cluttering the list with this meta-discussion.
