Just so that everyone knows...

If you believe that you've been improperly billed by a merchant you just
need to call the CC company and do a chargeback. The money will be credited
to your account right away and the merchant will then have (I believe) 90
days to prove the validity of the charges.

If they do prove it, the money will be debited again, otherwise it stays in
your account.

hi,

i'm a long-time wind_talk lurker, and i forwarded the micro-forecasts
credit card warning to my brother, who has an account.

here's what he had to say:
-------

yes, larry hambrick called me back ~5months ago after leaving a few messages
(cust. service: 800/934-2278.) he told me they would credit my card for
8 $39 charges. ~3 messages and one call-back message later they still
haven't
done it. his message said they were switching to a new 'system' and have
had problems, but he would look into why my refund hadn't gone thru. i
think
i'll send a letter to the cc co. to refuse charges from windsight.
steve
