While sailing at Davenport Sunday, I broke my mast on the north break.
While swimming in, the current took me to the south break where the waves
eventually carried me into shore. Unfortunately, I lost my rig in the surf.
I believe the pulley that attaches to the grommet slipped out - since there
was no tension from the downhaul. I was able to hold onto my board.
I walked around hoping that my rig would wash ashore somewhere, but the tide
was coming in so eventually I gave up. I have pretty much written this off,
but - just in case - it was an Ezzy sail, Fiberspar boom and mast. If you
find my rig, please call Paul at 650 855 2812.
