Yesterday at 3rd I had the best time of my now exactly one year long
windsurf life.
I was perfectly powered on a 4.2 (116 lbs) sailing on a 272 Axis. To
celebrate getting and staying in the footstraps I decided it was time
to check out "The Channel".
I wasn't exactly sure if I would see the markers, or how I would know,
but then the swell got really huge, seemingly out of nowhere, and then
Martin showed up, also seemingly out of nowhere with a look of serious
concern. I didn't hang out long, the wind was starting to drop so I
'swell started' and took off.
I can't jibe yet, but I'm about to start going for it with what few
days there are left.
Darin
