Just to throw my own observations of Sherman from this weekend.

I sailed the Access Sunday from 2-6pm. 2-4pm on 6.0m OP'd (175lbs.) and
4-6pm on a 5.0m.

The wind was SW and from the beach with a hand wind meter I read about
20mph at 2pm and about 25mph at 4pm. Checking with the COTW at those times
this measured about halfway between the Average and Gust measurements. I'd
say you can add another 5mph to all those readings as to the max gusts out
on the water.

It was my first time this year out on my 5.0m so I was quite happy I made
the trip from the peninsula.

Alex.
