3rd is good when the tides let you use the little beach as you drive in
or use the old launch when the water isn't too high.

Candlestick is good for working on waterstarts as it gets you alot of
wind close to shore. Just don't go too far so you can swim your board
back if you have problems before getting blown past the point.

I've heard ALameda is great.

Palo Alto can be intimidating as you have to be good at getting back to
where you started unless you like walking in thigh deep mud. If you
have a big board and a dagger board, no problem, but there are better
places to learn to sail short boards.

I learned at Coyote. Not alot of wind inside and is is intimidating
outside. Would have used 3rd Ave if I had known about it.
