Subject: WTB: 285 Xantos and smaller board

I'm looking to replace two boards with newer ones:
o my aging 290 Sputnik with (285-295cm, 60cm wide, 120+L)
o my wife's 270 Axxis with (275-280cm, 56-60cm wide, 100-110L)

I'm 210#'s and jump. The Sputnik had held up well over the past
three years and I really like it (124L, 60cm wide)
I've demo'd the 285 Xantos and like that as well (118L, 57cm wide).
I've heard a few people have had problems with the Xantos and
Axxis boards this past year and thus am open to other manufacturers.
But I've been sailing F2's since 1985....'nuff said.

My wife has tried my 290 and liked it as well. She is used to the
270 but it now sailing her ASD 8'6" more often.

Please ONLY send me a reccomendation if you can give me a phone number
for someone who is selling one.

I'll be heading to next Sunday's swap meet at Windsurf Warehouse.
I could meet folks there to check out boards...IMHO this has always
been the best swap on (or near) the peninsula and I know WBW will
have the Xantos for sale then too...

thanks,
grant
