I was at 3rd yesterday and proclaimed a "Wanker" by god father Jay.
This was for rigging in the parking lot behind my van. I have been
sailing for quite a few years now and figured that I know most of the
etiquette. This one took me by surprise!

I am from the old days when you rigged near your vehicle. I usually
park on the water side, throw my gear over the fence and rig on the
strip of dirt between the fence and the bike path. Yesterday I pulled
in on the golf course side and rigged behind the van. Who is this
offended and why?

What others rules of etiquette are there at 3rd? If I wear booties
while rigging in the lot would this be OK?
