That sounds painfull.
Have you tried tightening up the straps so only the beginning of your foot
touches
the pads. I know this seems pretty rudimental, but I had a sore ankle a few
years
back and this helped. It took a little while to get used to the different
leverage,
but it beat the pain.
Booties help
You could also slip some foam underneath the plastic insert.
Airwaves makes comfortable straps and Mark Dupre is a chiropractor whom I'm
sure would make you some special ones.
Maybe we could glue extra strong velcro to the soles of our booties.
