The type of sail is the determining factor. The Northwave sails seem to be the
sail of choice for the Pistol River crew, and they rig like boards. I can
flatten out my Spiderloks and they stay fairly stable, but my old single cam
Rushwinds turned into a random element if I tried flattening them out.
