Subject: Wind Salad

Brothers and Sisters of the wind, Another year has begun!!!
Numeralo uno was in Bahia De Los Angeles, but that doesn't count.
1.) Tuba, i.e. ToooooBuuh! / Last Saturday.
     * and guess what; there's a new sand bar compliments of mother
nature's last storm, so we don't have to spend an hour pinchin up
shark country to get some decent waves.
2.) A Place South of Waddell, North of LA / this Friday
     * The waves were great. Smooth, glassy and sassy they were peelin
to the rythym of a side off beat.
3.) Waddell/ Yesterday/ Saturday.
     * In 10 years I've never seen all the rocks that are exposed across
the beach. There is no beach. Maybe Mutha Naicha took the sand
from Waddell and dumped it at TooouBuh??
4.) Ocean Beach / Today / Sunday
      * The morning was really good side shore with a reasonable swell, but
of course I missed it. When I pulled up at 2:30 there were a
couple of
guys on the beach waiting for Godo. This big burly dude that kind
of
looked familiar took off and was raging. He made it look so easy.
 I got
inspired and rigged. The guy was Ian Boyd and, 'How do they do
it'?
It wasn't easy; it was typically O.B. frustrating. I caught a few
waves
and managed to have some humble fun in amongst getting pounded like
abalone in the windless shore break. I could hear the echo just
like
' Endless Summer', You shold have been here yesterday.'

*** We do live in a blessed place whith a lot of wind diversity, even though
it is
too crowded, over priced, and a few too many BMWs.
At this rate if I can keep sailing a different site every time I should be
reduntant
about April and maybe my arms will be in shape for the May Baja adventure.
Who's ever prayin to the wind Gods, Good Work and for Heavens sake keep it
up!!!
