Subject: Tuesday Afternoon

Not being able to resist the pages and e-mails I was getting, did
Oyster/Flying Tigers yesterday. Started on the 9.0 CS Board for safety's
sake, and my 5.5. Sailed/slogged to Tigers (as usual) and promptly was
op'd. Switched to the 8'8" Enduro shortly after, but didn't re-rig (should
have). Robyn was on her 4.7. Sailed op'd to powered 1.5-2 hours over at
Tigers until about 6:00 when the wind got flukey, and almost didn't make it
back to the launch. Had to swim the last 50 yards in beyond the pier.
Chop was 6"-1' and wind-driven, but nicely formed. That Enduro jumps like
a champ!

Anyone have suggestions on what fin to use with that board? I'm currently
using a 10.5" HotDog on loan from ASD, but it seems a little on the small
side and doesn't point too well, especially when I drop off a plane. A
10.5" Rhino? Go up in size a notch? Use a pointer on low/flukey wind
days? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Fog on the hills, hot in the inland valley, and baseball (almost) on the
radio. The season is here! Now if Third would only click. My new board
is hungering for some chop. Anyone sail points south yesterday?
