Subject: 8'11" ASD (95-100L?)

FOR SALE: ASD 8'11" Course Slalom Board

-EXCEPTIONAL condition....
As good and clean as the consignment ones for $895(plus 8.25%)tax at ASD.
-about 14 lbs w/straps
-Footpads and almost new footstraps included
-Tuttle Fin Box with choice of two fins (One fin included w/board)
-1993 Shape....(not a no-nose so lighter people will find it easy to tack and
 easier to learn)
-VERY fast. A good light Air board for light to med wt. sailors (<180 lbs)
I'm 220 and got it to learn to sail a sinker (about 95L) and get upwind
against the floodtide so I wanted hard rails and good volume in the
middle. Now that I'm much more efficient and can get upwind on much
sinkier wave boards, I find this board is too fast on the smaller sails
(5.0 and 5.6) which is 20-25 knots or so at my size and is not the
shape to sail on good days at 3rd so I've ordered a new bump board. I
hardly sailed it last yr as I'd go straight from my 9'6" ASD Course
Board to my wave board. If I'm dialed on this board (light 5.6 to
powered 6.2) I don't get caught on starboard reaches.....I've even
caught racers in a race when I was downwind of them)
-About $1500 into the board/fin/straps/pads/tax so I'll ask 50% less
$100 to move it fast. ($650 for the calculator impaired)

email me at kirk_lindstrom@sj.hp.com-DeleteThis to arrange to see it or call me
between 7AM and 3PM at 408-435-6404

and after over 2 yrs of only trying on the wetsuit it doesn't look like
she will try the sport....
