How far downwind is "the-sign" from the powerlines?

Saturday: sailed 3.6/8'3" fully powered at the S.I. access. 8:00-10:00am. The
access was definitely a sail size windier than the powerlines. (made a down-
winder to the-sign). Swells were shaping up quite nicely.

Monday: sailed 4.3/8'3" at the sign. Med. smooth faced swells. Interestingly
enough, the-sign was the only place with decent wind. Both powerlines and the
access were a sail-size+ lighter....figure that one out.

Chrissy monday: incorrectly rigged a 4.3, 5.0 would have been better but the
wind was real up and down, so any sail would have been good for part of the
time. BIG swells rolling in through the gate.
