Waddell report:

Arrived about 4pm Sunday and rigged my 5.0 Gaastra and 8'6" ASD (I am 145lbs).
Surf was small. Sailed for about 45 minutes while it filled in and picked up.
Rigged down to my 4.7 Hurricane and sailed nicely powered for 1.5 hours until
it began to get holey (the wind, not my sail :-). The shorebreak for the last
hour was significantly greater than when I got there. Waves were chest high. I
did manage to loose it on a jibe when a wave broke on my sail; it sucked my rig
to the bottom for about 15-20 seconds. Sorry, no epic mast-base-breakage-and-
swim-across-the-Bay story to tell.

My only regret is I missed the Simpson's season premier. Doh! At least I have a
good excuse.
