3 Convertible boards currently on the market:

F2 Axxis 258
Mistral Electron (8'8")
Bic Saxo 265

Since you live in the Bay area and have access to demo boards from local shops,
I would recommend demoing at least all of the above and seeing what suits you
the best. I am baised towards the F2 Axxis 258 ( I have one ): it's way fast
in choppy bay conditions while still having a good ride ,and it turns sharply.
 Good board for 3rd Ave bump and jump without sacrificing speed.
