no wonder you were planning past some slogging people ! 6.2 for 150# is
a pretty big rig ! :-)
Actually I used my 5.9/9'0 epoxy combo (190# though) and was planning
just fine most of the time. A little of pumping at time when the wind
was baking off - sailed from 4:30-7:30 with a brake in between when I
lost my fin (the screw came loose) near the channel. That felt like some
MAJOR spinout withought any possible recovery !
I used my harness attached to my back footstrap (I remember reading
about this a while back) and it worked just fine. Enough drag to be able
to point the board but pretty tiring on the arms..sailing withought a
harness and some parachute pulling your board back ins't too much fun !

I borrowed a fin from Jerome (the big French guy who always sails in the
6.0-7+ sizes !) and was back in the water till sunset. A fun day indeed
(cost me $50 thought :-()
