Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade the wooden mast on my el toro dinghy to carbon. I hope that someone has an old carbon mast that won't work with new sails in their garage for me.

Needs to be:

less than 4 lb, the lighter the better
430 cm or longer (I have a saw)
pretty stiff (el toro sails aren't designed for bendy rigs)
1 or 2 piece, skinny or non-skinny is okay

Ideal mast would be a super-light, stiff, skinny one-piece, but don't hesitate to email me with whatever you've got in the rafters or corner of your garage.

Will pay $50-75 for the right mast, if I can't find one I'll retire my current mast to the boat and buy a new one for windsurfing.

I live in Martinez, work in SF and will drive to the peninsula or wherever.

If you are curious--
Here is a link to what I'm going to do:

Here's a link to appropriate mast stiffness:

Thanks,

-Mike
