Dominican Republic has got both. My wife and I were there about ten
years ago and did both. They have a big Haitian influence which adds a
lot of color and artistic culture. Sosua which is close to the windsurf
town is vibrant. We wandered all over the island and found the country
fascinating. The windsurfing is one of the best locations in that neck
of the woods because it has waves.
