We spoke to Jim today and he sounded great! Coleen was scheduled to
come out of ICU today. Ahead is pending surgery on her face (eye
socket) and then later, on her thigh to repair a circulatory problem
resulting from the accident. They are both recuperating in St.
Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point Wisconsin, if you want to send a
card or note.
Jim's injuries were not as bad as first reported. Coleen's brother
was not injured and has gone home to New Mexico. Jim confirmed the
death of Coleen's mother. Jim and Coleen expect to be coming home to
Berkeley within two weeks. His aim is to be back on the water by
next season, if not sooner!
