Crissy conditions have the lowest correlation to what is happening on the
water whereas Berkeley has the highest correlation in my experience. For
Crissy, I check:

1) Exploratorium cam
http://cams.exploratorium.edu/CAM2/index.html
You'll see people on the water if it is good... if not, maybe a kiter or two

2) Wind at the north side of the gate:
http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/Monterey/products/SFODARDC

3) Overall picture on the USGS wind model
http://sfports.wr.usgs.gov/wind
