Earth Day by the Bay will be at Coyote Point on Saturday. There will be boats
out to demark area where the proposed runway would cut off windsurfing access
to the middle of the Bay and start the silting in process. Come early to show
support for the Bay and then head on the Bay when the rally is over. The
event is on the marina side of the park.

Earth Day by the Bay

Saturday, April 20
10am-Noon

Coyote Point Marina

Come celebrate Earth Day while learning more about San Francisco Airport's
plan to fill more than one square mile of the Bay - an area twice as large
as Treasure Island - for new runways. This project would endanger the Bay
ecosystem and threaten recreational uses of the Bay. But there are
alternatives.

Boats will outline the extent of the proposed landfill, depicting the
enormity of the Airport's runway project.

$4 vehicle entrance fee.
