OK, I just gotta tell this story now...
earlier this summer I went up to Powerlines for a weekday session. got
there about 2, it was blowing nicely, only the long term hardcore in
the parking lot, only 2 or three sails on the water. I rigged a 4.7
and launched. ouch! too much!
came right back in and rigged down one size. 4.2 mo' bettah, but I'm
stiff and tight and tense and sore, not really having a lot of fun...
decided I'm hot and dehydrated, so i come in for a drink but all I have
is some hot water in a plastic bottle. this won't do...hmmmmm. I hop
in the van and jam up the road to Windcraft where they sell not only
windsurfing gear, but bait, ice, and beer!
So I get a a tub of nightcrawlers, a sixpack of COLD Bud, and a bag of
ice! 2 buds later I'm back on the water, way hydrated, loose, rippin
and happy! Was a very good sesh.
