I probably told the story on the list already, so I won't repeat the
tale of my separation, swim and sunken rig at Doug's Beach, but I
also swear by the double bolt Chinook bases. (I guess I got mine before
the hourglasses went floppy.) After not bothering to check it for lots
and lots of outings, it came loose in the Gorge this past weekend, but
two nuts can't slide out of one hole, so no problem.

The lack of mast adjustment never really bothered me, as I don't adjust
my mast position. (But hey, I've been sailing the same board for
10 years or so, too. :-)
