You can avoid low tide problems at Isabel by launching from the dog park at
the end of Central Avenue.

A good rule for the summertime to choose between Isabel and Berkeley is the
cloud pattern: If the clouds are coming into Albany hill and north, go to
Isabel; if the clouds are piling up on the east bay hills behind Berkeley
and south, go to Berkeley.

So where was the Berkeley crowd last night? There were only half a dozen of
us out and it was sunset that drove us home. I even got to ride my 65 L
8'3" board! The low tide was scarcely a problem (a little dicey for a
minute trying to get out while the board was underwater near the dock).

Now living in the east bay it was tough looking at the sensor at crissy. I
went out at Marina Bay near pt. isa. On my return due to dying winds I had
a 100yd walk through knee deep mud. Holy cow did that bite!!!!!!!!!!!

Packed up and headed to berkeley- school was in full session and it was
solid 5.0 from 5-sunset.
