Hi Lev

I was also thinking about getting a Naish. I a new to wave sailing and have
a couple of questions

Do you have any trouble getting up wind?
[Lev] Nope. None at all. It's wide, thick powerful tail, and it's very
stiff (unlike my smaller board, the F2 254)

Do you have any trouble getting powered up and planing? I still have trouble
getting through the impact zone
[Lev] Not really. It seems that the trick with waveboards is to bear off a
lot, and put as much weight on the boom/mast as you can while getting back
on the board. Because of the wider outline, it is important to step back as
you sheet in in order to accelerate, otherwise it slows you down. But it's
not like I am a real expert either, in fact I suck in the waves myself, just
learning...

thanks

Andy
