David

I will send you an email directly. But the short of it is that I sailed
there about 20-30 time last year.

And, our future there is by no means ensured, so it is time to meet again
with the authorities again to see the impact of launching there last year.
(Tom, we should talk soon about going to meet the Harbor Mastor again)

If anyone is interested in joining the TI committee of SFBA, you can email
me directly.

David

cleanup on Tuesday, 2/20. It quickly became clear there were better
"venues" with regard to addressing windsurfing related issues. I was told
about the TI Development Authority (TIDA), with URL:

meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month in the Dept. of Labor Bldg. on TI.

meetings, and what the status of windsurf launch and future development
issues might be from their perspectives?

NE tip of the island (best address is 14th and Avenue I, at end of the
Avenue). There is large boat ramp, behind about a 20ft high breakwater that
extends out about 50 yards, creating major wind shadow issue. Parking seems
quite nice (no bad signs noticed), but a gate has been installed that keeps
cars away from ramp, so about a 50ft walk to actual launch. I saw several
SF police cars roaming island, and stopped one to inquire about direction to
Casa Vista, with no "attitude" detected. Of course, I didn't have my gear
visible.

ramp/breakwater, which I'll try pasting (JPEG). But I expect this won't
work with a listserve?
