Dave, thanks for what you said, I appreciate it, but:
The SFBA eNews goes out to over 1900 people - that's
more than twice the size of the CGWA (Columbia Gorge
Windsurfing Association), for example, so that's a lot
of people. Different people. Some are not even
windsurfers.
My goal with the eNews is to help us get what we want.
So, alienating people so predictably shouldn't be part
of the master plan. Re SFO, the goal should be
building coalitions between greens, demos,
republicans, pro business folks, pro env folks, and
everyone else concerned about traffic, noise, etc...
I'll definitely stand behind myself - when I'm right.
Not when I'm wrong.*
*Note: What I said was not necesarily wrong. Saying it
in the eNews is what was wrong.
