Isn't that charming? Here I thought it was about fueling the
economic engine of SF, and cutting down on the unpleasant
delays at SFO, while abjuring the Communist notion that the
three airports around the bay ought to work together.

But no, it's about "saving lives." Who could be against that?

Yessirree, keeping those jets coming in and out two at a time
is about as environmentally sensitive a purpose as one can
imagine.
