With Crissy gusting to 25, and Berkeley doing 16 wsw 14-19, and
numbers(15) at Pt. Isabel (circa 8/12/2000 13:15 CotW), and NWS SFODARDC
Angel Is. doing 25 at 240 (20:06 GMT), and max ebb approx. 3pm today (my
estimated 1 hour earlier than crissy) and my new VHF hand-held
waterproof marine radio, ...

... TI looks promising for today.

David

PS, simply put, if you question your ability to make it back to the
launch at TI, given the conditions at the time you are considering said
launch(including but not limited to, wind speed/direction, water
current/temperature, etc), then you should not launch. That said, I
love sailing TI. See ya out there!

PPS, The SF Police are our friends at TI. They have not bothered
windsurfers for several weeks now, in fact they do patrol the area and I
thank them for it.

PPPS, Be on your best behavior while using the TI access and parking
lot. Try to use the boat ramp to minimize risk of falling on the rocks
(even when you have to swim when coming in). There is no guarantee of
permenant access at this time, but we are hopeful, and it is generally
up to the responsible use of the site by the windsurfing community to
determine the future of the access (and the SFBA is working on it, in
fact, if you were wondering what your 20 bucks SFBA dues was going for,
among the list is the fact that several meetings and many discussions
led to the TI access we have now)
