There have been a couple of letters to the editor in Windsurfing about
using eTrex GPS receivers to measure maximum speed. Has anyone actually
tried it? I'm thinking about doing it but it seems my eTrex loses
satellites easily. If I put it in anything waterproof it seems like I'd
just be carrying around a few more ounces and not know anything more.
And yes, I'm sure I'll be disappointed if it does work but what the
heck...at least I'll know.
