My home owners insurance covers my boards on my car. My insurance agent
said that all I needed was a picture of the loaded car.

Subject: gear insurance

i talked to a couple of sailors in the past who had insurance in order to
protect the gear on their cars from thieves. i would like to drive my gear
into the city for afterwork sessions. can anyone offer some pointers
regarding coverage, rates, limitations...? will the gear need to be "locked"

to be covered? has anyone had to go through the claim process?

any feedback will be appreciated,

-manuel
