San Luis has been good.....Sunday was overpowered on a 5.2 (245#, 9.0
cfx....struggling intermediate) people were jumping and I saw one loop.
When I dug my board out of the bag (where it was longer that I will
admit to), the deck around the mast box was concave. I had the plug
out, but am guessing that this is a epoxy board, hot weather, etc type
of thing. I sailed, it didn't seem to get heavier, and when I took the
plug out at the end there was a pressure differential.
Any thoughts on whether the board is toast and I should start looking
for a new one? Also any thoughts on a board for a over 200 lb, sort of
intermediate, no illusions about Waddell kind of guy. My goal is to
have a single board as I can't justify a quiver. I had some thoughts
about a Fat Mutant or a Techno 283.
Thanks,
Jim Murdy
