Seeking guidance -- I am looking for some feedback on the new JP260 for this
year to use at 3rd on ripping days. I am 6-2, 195lbs, with many years of
experience (more than I'd like to admit), and have larger boards (115 L and
92? L) that work well for 6.5 and 5.7 days. The 92 L (Enduro) is too big for
the 5.3 and below days.... and makes me wish for my old 8-6 Voigt glass board
(vintage 84'). Question: anybody my size tried out the new JP260 with
"channel" for this year - it is rated by windsurf magazine at 85 L compared
to 80 L last year, which seems about right. How is the control at high speed
and in the chop and out in the channel (the center of bay)? How well does it
stick to the water? (I don't do loops). Any body compared last year's 260
with this year's? Any other better choices for my size and needs? thanks for
any advise -- I am looking to pick up something in the next few days...
thanks for your help! mark.
