I dont think there is anything like the van rentals available in Maui, but on
the North shore in Hanalei (spelling?) There are board rentals. The surf is
good and the winds are usually a notch or two below Maui's.
Tunnels is a good beak, but check things out with the locals, because the
coral is very new and sharp there; and shallow. Ahini beach is a great place
to get familiar with the local conditions without much risk.
