Just a session note:
Crissy Field, Monday
5.0 conditions outside. Steady and full- tons of Huge boat traffic- those
navy boys even finally paddled out that destroyer after bandaging thier
ego's.

Slack tide-nearing ebb. shoulda been at work.
A few hundred yrds inside the Golden Gate bridge. Perfectly, tidally
forced flat water. Great huge jibes with courduroy water. Like freshly
tuned carving ski's. It was nice to get out of the slack chop. At the west
end of this flat area you could see that waves from outside the bay were
breaking- breaking on the smooth water as if it were a perfect sandbar.
This made for great small wave sailing-slashing and turns FUN. Great for
jibes from the mellowing swell and into the smooth water. The loop became a
figure 8-with a flat center- smooth water jibe - back up to swell- smooth
water jibe- back to swell.

Sail till tired shlog in.

Crissy is like a ski area, unlimited options only available for a "don't
know till I ski it attitude"

In contrast to the fight at SFO crissy is an amazing victory for the
"mother". Not only windsurfing. We are lucky that we are on her side.
Money may seem the only victor but in the end there is only one. Just think
how she f*&%'s with the planes, simple victories. Rejoice in your delayed
flight.

Erik
